Q. We would like to add a link to your forum on our web site. How can we do that?A. We will be glad if you do that. You can use several different logos. Use either one depending on your site needs. Code:http://myfoottalk.com/Logo/MyFootTalk%20(2%20lines%20small).jpg http://myfoottalk.com/Logo/MyFootTalk%20(3%20lines%20small).jpg http://myfoottalk.com/Logo/MyFootTalk%20(small).jpg
Below is the example of HTML code using one of these logos: Code:<a href="http://www.MyFootTalk.com" target="_blank"> <img src="http://myfoottalk.com/Logo/MyFootTalk%20(2%20lines%20small).jpg" alt="Free Web Forum for Podiatrists<br/>and people whose lives <br/>depend on feet at<br/> www.MyFootTalk.com" title="Free Web Forum for Podiatrists<br/>and people whose lives depend on feet at<br/> www.MyFootTalk.com"/> </a>

Q. Are you supporting languages other than English?A. We are currently supporting only English language. Although the forum supports a lot of different languages we cannot allow all of them simply because we cannot read and control the content of these postings made in other languages. We are absolutely sure that you don't want to waste your time reading spam messages or the messages having inappropriate content. It will be very unattractive for the forum readers. That's why we made this decision. Although if we find people who could support other languages we could add this functionality as well. Admin

Q. Name convention. A. Very often people ask us a question about name convention that they should use on the forum. It is easy and, at the same time, not very easy to answer this question. On one hand, most of the forums are using just names or even aliases, and it's very convenient to call each other this way. It was always a part of the network etiquette and we like that. Forums using this approach are usually very friendly, open, informal, but, at the same time, they are full of respect. People feel comfortable and write to these forums with no doubt. It would be much better if we could use that on our forum as well. On the other hand, this is the forum for doctors and non-doctors and we can expect people to ask any question about their health to get a professional advice from a doctor rather than other patients. There is a huge difference who answers the question and we all understand that. Anybody can answer, and that's the forum advantage, but the significance of the answer depends on who gave the answer - a doctor or a non-doctor. That's why we do not want to limit you with any rules. But we would like to make a suggestion. It's simple. Why don't we correct our signatures on the forum ( My Profile => Signature) to include the title (when appropriate), name, web site, contact info, etc.? We can easily include Dr. All Come, DPM. website.com, mobile phone: (123) 456-7890, office: (234) 567-8910 and the people can always see our title, complete name and contact info under every posting that we made. We can use just names inside our postings if we feel that it is appropriate and doesn't look disrespectful. But if anyone wants, it is possible to always include title. The final decision is yours. If you have any suggestions, ideas, recommendations, please let us know. It is very important to create a good environment on the forum so that people like it.
